ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County Fair announced earlier Tuesday that two brothers will be headlining at this year's fair concert.
Brothers Osborne will be taking the stage on Saturday, August 17th. The reigning Country Music Awards and American Country Music Duo of the Year are being called the faces of the new generation of Nashville.
A young artist in his 20s, Corey Kent, will be opening for the Brothers Osborne. Kent's music is rock-infused country, which has him positioned as one of country music's next breakout artists.
Fair officials are excited about the concert.
"It's going to be easily our biggest event of the year. Bringing in Brothers Osborne alone is a feat in itself. They're a very established country duo, if not the hottest country duo in country music right now. They have a lot of recognizable hits that have been chart-toppers over the last couple of years. Here most recently, they've just dropped some new music as well. We're very excited about what they have to bring to the table there," stated Troy Elwer, promotions and operations manager.
The concert is scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 24, at 9 a.m. These will be online only at https://allencofair.com/the-county-fair/allen-county-fair-concert/. Tickets range from $45 to $100.
