LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Area car enthusiasts gathered Friday evening for the Buckeye Cruisers’ “End of Summer Cruise-In” at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lima.
The event showed a variety of muscle, vintage, and sports cars, filling the parking lot and giving guests a close-up look at the vehicles. The cruise-in also supports local causes, benefiting Deb’s Dogs and the Veterans Food Pantry of Northwest Ohio.
“We just enjoy helping people out. I mean, there's a lot of people in need right now. Our veterans are definitely in need, and the pet situation in Lima is not the greatest,” says John Gross, Leader of the Buckeye Cruisers.
“We grew up with these cars, and we want them to stay around- who knows where these cars are going to be in 10 years,” says Rick Horseman, Helper with the Buckeye Cruisers.
In addition, Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 50 percent of its food sales Thursday night to the Buckeye Cruisers.
