Bukowski Retires from Apollo Career Center

The Apollo Career Center is saying farewell to a long time employee at tonight’s Board of Education meeting.

Board and faculty members were able to enjoy the company of Greg Bukowski as Apollo’s Treasurer for one last time. Bukowski started at Apollo in January of 1985 and was able to make several accomplishments in that time. One of his proudest moments was developing a foundation designed to financially help needy students as well as make scholarships available for Apollo’s students. That foundation now holds a balance of approximately $400,000 that will continue to help students even after Bukowski is gone.

The Apollo Career Center will continue to remain in good financial hands as the longtime treasurer described his replacement, Maria Rellinger, as bright, innovative, and a spreadsheet wizard.
