Charges Pending in Paulding Double-Homicide

A Defiance man faces charges in connection with the homicides of two people in Paulding county.

According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, a warrant was issued today for the arrest of 42 year old Bradley Gillespie for the deaths of Hannah Fischer and Frank Tracy Jr.

Gillespie is currently incarcerated in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on unrelated charges out of Defiance county.

According to jail records, he also faces  two counts of murder.

It is unknown when he’ll be arraigned in Paulding county on those charges.

Sheriff Jason Landers indicated that they’ve gotten some huge breaks in the case over the past few weeks. Some witnesses came forward with information.

They were able to recover the weapon used and recovered other valuable evidence from a Jeep Compass that was recovered on February 9th when Fischer’s body was discovered.

Landers indicated that both Fischer and Tracy were murdered inside the Jeep.

Landers also said there is still no evidence which links this case to the Wilma Schwartz case from March 14th.
