The City of Lima is working to help those in need of home repairs, rehabilitation of property, and ways to stay in your home by publishing a resource guide.
The guide lists agencies that can help you in these areas. Not just local, but state and national resources as well. You can find it online at the city's website by clicking on the housing tab in Housing and Neighborhoods.
The city is also still accepting applications for their Rapid Repair Program for landlords with vacant units to get them back on the market as soon as possible.
"It gives them a number of agencies out there that are doing a lot of the same things, and we wanted to make sure that they're informed on that information. It's on our website. Those resources are there. The contact information. The phone numbers and e-mail addresses, and things like their websites for them to reach out to folks. If they have any questions, they can always come back and ask us as well," explained Carmillia Zion, director of Lima's Department of Housing and Neighborhoods.
The city is also still accepting applications for their Rapid Repair Program for landlords with vacant units to get them back on the market as soon as possible. That application and requirements can be found on the city's website as well at https://www.limaohio.gov/DocumentCenter/View/10618/Rapid-Rental-Repair-Program-Application?bidId=.
