The Veterans Memorial Civic Center in downtown Lima has made some changes to help drum up business and improve customer service.
The Civic Center is now offering half-day rental rates in their meeting rooms and City Club for meetings lasting less than four hours. The rate change was a result of feedback from local businesses looking for quick off-site locations for their meetings. Additional improvements include free wireless Internet as well as access to an Event Services Technician during rental. According to Veterans Memorial Civic Center CEO Cindy Wood these improvements are a good move for both the customers and the Civic Center. Wood also says, "A top priority at the VMCC is to continue to improve our customer service and be able to offer out patrons options for any situation."
