LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Providing for members of the community is the mission of Lima's Com_UNITY Ministries.
The group held a food drive at Rigali's Pizza Village, and Monday was the day they handed out what they collected.
The group held a food drive at Rigali's Pizza Village, and today was the day they handed out what they collected. The only requirement is that they live in Lima.
Members of Com_UNITY say they are blessed to be able to help.
"Our whole purpose is to bring kind of peace and harmony to the community. Stand up against violence and bullying and things like that. So anything we can do to make a positive impact on the community we feel is important," said Judy Jacomet, Com_UNITY board member.

Anyone is invited to their gatherings for fellowship, prayer, and song. They meet at Rigali's Pizza Village on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for December 16, 2024, and then they are taking a break for the holidays and coming back together on January 6, 2025. Rigali's Pizza Village is located at 505 West North Street, Lima, OH 45801.
