A Dayton man facing a felony charge in Allen County will have his trial pushed back a bit longer.
Joseph Archie Jr. was in Allen County Common Pleas Court following a motion to continue his trial and waive his right to a speedy trial. Archie was set to begin his trial by a judge on Monday(11/25/19) as he faces one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The reason given was the defense may need more time to prepare. During the last pre-trial, both sides agreed to have the judge do an in-camera review of children's services records. Information may come out of that, which the defense may need. A new trial has been set for Feb. 10th, 2020.
