A woman from Delphos has been arrested in connection to the death of her 15-month-old son.
Valarie Dean, 24, is being held on felony charges of Involuntary Manslaughter and Child Endangerment in the Van Wert County Jail. She was arrested Thursday, based on new information found by investigators and presented to the Van Wert Grand Jury this month.
Her son, Hayden Ridinger, was found dead in the Old Lincoln Inn Apartments in November. Dean's former boyfriend, 26-year-old Christopher Peters, was arrested just days after the boy's death and is being held in the Van Wert County Jail on Aggravated Murder and other felony charges - until his trial scheduled for September.
Dean will be arraigned in the Van Wert County Common Plea's Court Wednesday morning.
