The Bulldogs packed the Elida Fieldhouse to celebrate the newest round of Elida graduates.
Elida High School held their 125th commencement ceremony. This year's commencement speaker is also this year's Distinguished Alumnus, Dr. Dennis Morris of the class of 1975. Morris' advice for the new graduating class is to keep in mind that their future from here on out is up to them.
"My goal is just to instill in them that to some extent they're starting over and there are lots of opportunities out there," says Morris. "They just need to find something that, one, they can be successful at, something to be happy with, and hopefully make a little money."
Around 170 seniors graduated from Elida in 2018, 159 of whom walked.
