An Allen County home is destroyed as fire engulfs it around noon Thursday.
Nearly a dozen firefighters from four different departments battling the blaze of a two story log home at 8201 Reservoir Road. An Allen County Sheriff's Deputy first spotted the smoke and called it in. When he arrived on the property the home was fully involved. The video sent to us from Johnny Brinkman shows the house engulfed in flames. Fire officials on scene report no one was home at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation.Â
Lafayette Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by fire personnel from Bath, Harrod and West Minster.
