The Lima Firefighters Union is stepping up to help local charities.
Tonight (3/26/16) at the Ohio Theatre they organized a benefit concert with proceeds going to various non-profit organizations.
The event was organized by local 334 of the International Association of Fire Fighters.
Organizer Andy Heffner says there will be an application process in the coming weeks and the union will decide which non-profits will receive some of the money raised tonight.
