Joint Township Hospital in St. Marys and "For the Love of Hospice" is presenting it's 8th annual gala benefiting Grand Lake Hospice. This years theme will be "To Hospice With Love", a James Bond 007 theme.
This event has become a major fundraiser for Grand Lake Hospice. Since 2007 "For The Love of Hospice" has raised over 270 thousand dollars from the support of the community, helping update the hospice suite. "Our goal is to raise about 60,000 a year and that tends to go, Grand Lake Hospice offers a lot of things that in the box hospice may not, we have music therapy, and massage therapy, pet therapy, so there is a lot of things that insurance doesn't cover, that's what some of these funds are used for", said Temple.
The gala will be held on Saturday April 23rd at Romer's Catering and Entertainment facility. For reservations call 419-394-3387 ext. 3567.
