LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Fort Wayne partnered with Lima to feed and give necessities to those in need.
The Lima business "Fresh and Faded" partnered with "A Hand to Help" and Fort Wayne’s "Pie's Clothing Closet" to bring clothing donations to Lima Locals in need. From shirts to gloves, there were clothes available for all ages. While every person could find apparel they need, they were also offered a hot plate of food. This could not have been possible without donations, and these three businesses teaming up to give back.
"Well Lima, you know for me, I've been here a couple of times, it really needs it. A lot of people are really struggling right now whether they're homeless or even working. You know, times are hard for everybody, and we want to make sure we bridge two cities together, Fort Wayne, and Lima, to make sure that we're able to take care of both of our communities," says Joseph Ayers, CEO of Pie's Clothing Closet.
By having this great turnout for those in need, Fresh and Faded will be glad to accept clothing donations during their business hours, which can be found on their Facebook page.
