Students in grades 7th through 12th have the opportunity to participate in the program that will cover a variety of topics including career exploration, college applications and ACT and SAT testing preparation.

"We want to give kids in the 7th grade to get them to start thinking about what do they want to do after high school, some career exploration. We want to help the seniors this year that might feel a little bit behind in getting those applications in and filling out their FASFA forms and getting ready. Just mentally getting ready for what it is like to go from high school to college and really help them be prepared for that," explained Robin Frazier, acting executive director at the Bradfield Community Center.

There is no charge and it will meet on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. It is being sponsored by the Smith-Jones Foundation and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Sigma Mu Omega Chapter.
