Dietsch Brothers ice cream is nestled in the heart of Findlay and is known by many, but not just for its delicious treats. The local treasure has been crafting an experience that continues to keep customers coming back for more.

"We get them all the time; we get regulars, and some of the conversations you strike up with customers, it's fun to hear. You can usually tell when they're not from here. They look at the board a little longer; they're like, Oh, I don't know what to get, or they ask for recommendations, so then you strike up a conversation. You know, where are you from? and it's everywhere," said Erika Dietsch-Brokamp, granddaughter and vice president of Dietsch.

The rich history of the family-owned business dates back to 1937, when ice cream shops were some of the most popular places around. The two brothers bought a bakery in town with a few candy recipes and have now expanded their offerings while staying true to the ice cream.

"I think they just had that vision that ice cream would be something that families could enjoy, and we've never looked back. We've continued to increase the line; we have, gosh, over 30 flavors," added Dietsch-Brokamp.

With over 80 years of experience, Dietsch Brothers has become a destination for generations of ice cream enthusiasts and chocolate lovers from far and wide. They have mastered the art of both creamy textures and diverse flavors with their in-house creations, but they also offer an unforgettable experience.

"We just traveled here from Blue Hill, Maine, and then we heard about Dietschs, and we couldn't miss it," said Kelly Close, from San Francisco, California.
