PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) - Graduates spanning decades gathered in Perry to see old friends and reminisce about their alma mater.

Graduates from 1961 to now gather for Perry HS All Class Reunion

The first reunion was held in 2022, but many people had too much fun to wait five years for the next one.

The Perry High School alumni held their 2nd All-Class Reunion on Saturday. Graduates going back to 1961 came out, and some Commodores even traveled from as far as Las Vegas to attend. Class photos and several historical items, like an old-school leather football helmet, were on display. The event also included a performance from local Elvis impersonator and Perry graduate, Richie Crouch. The first reunion was held in 2022, but many people had too much fun to wait five years for the next one.

"It is like a family reunion because, I mean, we're a small knit community and school, so we get to see people who we've grown up with for years. So, just getting to know them and getting to see them, their lives now, and how they're different, it's really neat," said Sabrina Grubb, one of the organizers who graduated in 2007.

Money raised at the reunion will be donated to support scholarships for current Perry students.
