ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - High school seniors got the opportunity to network with local businesses at OhioMeansJobs Allen County's third annual Spring Career Fair.
Over 120 Allen County employers were on hand this afternoon at the UNOH Event Center looking to connect with job-seeking individuals in the area.
Graduation means life-changing decisions are on the horizon for the seniors in attendance, as this career fair provided students with resume-building assistance, the option of taking a professional headshot, and career advice from professionals.
"The importance is for everything. Our population and school district all rely on keeping our key population indicators. Again, we're just trying to show the students that the grass isn't always greener. You grew up here. The cost of living is cheap, and we have great jobs and world-class companies here as well. It's a good place to work," said Joe Patton, director of OhioMeansJobs Allen County.
If you're in need of assistance on your resume or trying to find a job that best fits you, OhioMeansJobs wants to be the resource you use to help you on your career journey.
