Holly Fowler

The Logan County woman charged with the hit and run accident that killed a marine sergeant has pleaded guilty to two charges.

Holly Fowler pleaded guilty to leaving a scene of a fatal accident and tampering with evidence. A Logan County grand jury said there wasn't enough evidence for Fowler to be charged with vehicular homicide in the February 16th death of Gunnery Sergeant Monica Plank.

According to the Bellefontaine Examiner, police could prove that Fowler left the scene and replaced the windshield on her car after the accident. Fowler struck Plank while she was walking in the middle of the road after leaving a bar, Plank's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
