A St. Marys man will be in prison for at least 18 years after pleading guilty to raping a 12 year old girl.Â
22-year-old Dillon Howell was sentenced in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court with life in prison with a chance of parole after 18 years. In October, Howell took a plea deal that dropped 9 of the 10 rape charges he has against him, plus he was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor for taking pictures of the girl. Â
Law enforcement says the rape happened multiple times in a 6 month period during the fall of 2016 to the spring of this year. Howell will also have to register as a tier 3 sex offender.
