Charles Castle's case goes to jury for deliberation

A Hardin County man will be facing prison time for kidnapping a 7-year-girl in the fall of 2021.

Jury finds Charles Castle guilty on all charges

According to WKTN, the jury found 57-year-old Charles Castle guilty of all charges. Castle was convicted on seven counts of kidnapping, one count of rape, one count of attempted murder, one count of felonious assault, one count of breaking and entering, one count of endangering children, one count of burglary, and three counts of tampering with evidence.

Law enforcement says that Castle took the 7-year-old from her home in Kenton. Following a search, she was found the next day in an empty house in rural Hardin County. Castle will be sentenced next week on the charges.
