Here is this week's wanted list from the Lima/Allen-Putnam County Crime Stoppers Program. Law enforcement is also seeking assistance in solving the cold case homicide of 53-year-old Lucious Upshaw Jr.
Cold Case Homicide Lucious Upshaw Jr
On September 25, 2005 at 1145 pm, Officers from the Lima Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market St and Metcalf St in reference to a call of shots fired. Upon arrival in the area, officers located a white Cadillac. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as 53 year old Lucious Upshaw Jr. Lucious was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Lucious was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed from his injuries.
The Lima Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in solving this almost 20 year old heinous crime and providing justice for Lucious’ senseless murder.
