LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Community Aquatic Park is offering a winter camp for families during the Christmas break, bringing six days of summer-style fun to kids in the middle of winter.
The camp is open to children ages 4 to 13 and will include swimming, crafts, pizza, ice cream and a movie. The cost is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child, with special pricing available for the first 20 children registered. The winter camp adds to the growing number of programs at the park. Organizers of the “Make a Splash” endowment fund hope residents will notice the offerings and consider donating to support the facility.
“It’s really important for the public to continue to support this project, because it's going to be a facility that we hope is around for a long, long time,” said Bob Meredith, co-chair of the Make a Splash Endowment Fund.
