The Lima Civil Service board held an emergency meeting Tuesday afternoon, voting on a newly adopted rule that will change duties of the President, at least for right now. No Civil Services member is allowed to have two titles, you can only have one position and with the board Secretary Andy King not able to fulfill his duties right now, board rules say they are not allowed to appoint anyone currently on the board. The Secretary takes care of the paperwork, accepts applications, administers exams, scores them and does the scheduling. The rule will be on Lima Council's agenda Monday night.
