
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Fire Department battled a morning house fire that they believe was a probable arson.
Firefighters were called out to 221 South Scott Street just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Smoke was coming from the attic area and fire was seen on the side of the house, which was vacant. Crews were on scene for a couple of hours. After investigating, they determined the fire was intentionally set. The cost of the damage is around $12,000.
