A Wapakoneta man was killed and two others injured in an ATV accident early Sunday morning.
The Lima Highway Patrol Post says 28-year-old Dillon Place died at the hospital. He was riding a four-wheeler south on Sunderland Road near Agerter Road just before 2 a.m. when he hit two mailboxes and a culvert, throwing him from the ATV. Troopers say a passenger, Danielle Sudman of St. Marys and the driver of a dirt bike hit by the ATV, 22-year-old Codie Rostorfer of Buckland were both injured but ran off. They were later taken to the hospital by Rostorfer's parents. The Lima Highway Patrol says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash and no one was wearing a helmet.
The crash is still under investigation.
