A Lima man accused of shooting into a home takes a plea deal for a reduced charge.
23-year-old Dalentino Lacey pleaded guilty to attempted improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation. As part of the plea deal, the charge was reduced to attempted and a firearm specification was dropped which would have guaranteed prison time. Back in spring, Lacey was arguing with a woman and during the fight, he pulled a gun out and fired into the door of her home. The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation, Lacey could get prison time, but that will be decided in August.
