A local chef is bringing joy to the city in a unique way.
Executive chef Robert Arnold has constructed a gingerbread Christmas village at Lima Memorial to bring a little Christmas cheer to the city. The village was made using 125 pounds of powdered sugar.
Arnold's been working on the individual houses and trinkets for weeks. It took about seven hours to finally put everything together.
Although he's been the head chef at Lima Memorial for four years, he said this was the first year he's been able to dedicate time to making it.
Although he's done 20 villages in his lifetime, this is the first for Lima Memorial which will be donned with Christmas lights once complete.
