The Lima Rotary Foundation is helping some non-traditional students go back to school and go after their dreams.
Eleven $1,000 scholarships were awarded this quarter. The foundation has given out a total of over $800,000 in scholarships for people who are going back to school and that money is helping make dreams come true.
“This scholarship helps me a lot with my studies,” says Hachemy Gabriel, Scholarship recipient. “Because that's my goal of my study is one day to see wanting a business and also give other people the opportunity to have a job and that will help me to realize this opportunity.”
Gabriel says he will be graduating next year from Bluffton University with a degree in business.
