Lima City Schools enters into a contract with the Allen County Educational Service Center.
The district was forced into the agreement through House Bill 153 which passed last summer. It requires school districts to enter into agreements with educational service centers.
The district views this as a positive change. The agreement will help fill positions left open after the district made $3 million in budget cuts last year.
The district is still deciding what services to contract out to the Allen County Educational Service Center.
