Some Lima Senior High School students got a look at how the judicial system works.
The Allen County Bar Association conducted mock trials at the school.
Local judges, attorneys, and law students from the Ohio Northern University Legal Clinic participated in the trials and were able to answer questions from the students about trial procedures and the educational requirements it takes to become a lawyer.
This was the first year for the program and it’s hoped the experience will create a greater interest in the legal field from the students.
