An accident at Crown Equipment in New Bremen left one man dead yesterday afternoon.
According to Crown, Travis Temple was working at Plant 4 when he was struck by a lift truck around 2:15 p.m. on Monday. He was transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita's in Lima, where he died.
The New Bremen Police Department and OSHA are currently investigating the incident. Crown's vice president of human resources Randy Niekamp says the company is saddened by the tragic event and send condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Temple. Grief counselors are available for employees who may need them.
