LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A local ministry helped spread Christmas Eve cheer in Lima.
Ministry of Angels stopped by Kessler Estates on Tuesday evening for caroling and fellowship with residents and visitors. Volunteers also handed out handmade rose soaps to residents at the facility. Ministry of Angels was founded by Anzhelika Nikolskaia, who is originally from Russia. She said she felt compelled to find ways to spread joy and help others in the community.
“I sit and just think I need to do something. I need to do something, not for money, not for business, for what if you alone, if you if you really sad, and I come to you and you smile to me, and everybody happy. You happy. Me happy,” says Anzhelika Nikolskaia, founder of Ministry of Angels.
In addition to Kessler Estates, Ministry of Angels also made a Christmas Eve stop at Lighthouse Behavioral Health.
