Hancock County’s newest Habitat for Humanity home is dedicated.
Jacob and Richel Duran receive the keys to their new home. Friends and family of the homeowners turned out Friday for a dedication ceremony at Whirlpool Corporation. Jacob is an employee of Whirlpool in Findlay and besides their 500 hours of sweat equity, much of the work was done by Findlay plant employees in a two month blitz build. The build was part of the year long celebration of Findlay Whirlpool’s 50th anniversary.
Whirlpool has partnered with Habitat for Humanity for 18 years and this is their fifth home built in Hancock County.
