LIMA, Ohio (Friday, May 3, 2024) The following construction projects are weather permitting.

Interstate 75 between Bluelick Road and State Route 65, through the city of Lima, will have rolling lane closures on Tuesday, May 7, for bridge inspections.
State Route 115 between Cole St. and Kissing Hollow Drive is expected to close on Monday, May 13 for approximately 60 days to repair the slope and replace a culvert. Visit the project webpage for more information: PID 111498
TRAFFIC IMPACT
Detour: SR 65 to U.S. 30, back to SR 115 (see map).
State Route 117 in the unincorporated community of Westminster may have temporary traffic impacts for finish work. Visit the project webpage: PID 109435.
State Route 117/State Route 309 at the intersection of Bellefontaine Avenue, Kibby Street, Leonard, and Harding Highway in the city of Lima will have traffic impacts for traffic signal work. Lanes may close and flaggers may be necessary.
DEFIANCE COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

U.S. 24 in both directions between U.S. 127 and Baltimore Street will be restricted to the right lane for a pavement rehabilitation project.

U.S. 127, over the Maumee River, south of the village of Sherwood, closed on May 8, 2023 for approximately 365 days for a bridge replacement. Reopening is currently anticipated on May 16. Visit the project page: PID 102669
TRAFFIC IMPACT
Detour: CR 424 to The Bend Road to SR 18, back to U.S. 127. (see map).
State Route 15/State Route 18 between Christy Rd. and Water St. over the Tiffin River will close on Monday, May 20, for approximately 90 days. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction. Visit the project page: PID 105148

State Route 18 and State Route 281, the Dommersville Road and E. Second Street intersection in the city of Defiance will have traffic impacts for traffic signal work. Traffic will be maintained; flaggers may be necessary.
HANCOCK COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

LIMA, Ohio (Friday, May 3, 2024) The following work is anticipated to affect highways in Hancock County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S. 224 at County Road 140 will have traffic impacts for traffic signal work. Traffic will be maintained; flaggers may be necessary.
U.S. 224 at Township Road (Trail) 237, the work to install a new traffic signal is delayed until further notice.
State Route 12 at County Road 9 will have traffic impacts for traffic signal work. Traffic will be maintained; flaggers may be necessary.
State Route 15 at County Road 169, the finishing work is delayed. The work is expected to begin the week of May 13 with potential shoulder or lane closures on both routes.
State Route 15 in both directions at County Road 180 will be restricted to one lane for bridge finish work. Additionally, County Road 180 over State Route 15 will be restricted to one lane, with flaggers directing traffic.
State Route 613 at Interstate 75 will close at the locations below Thursday, May 16 to Saturday, May 25 for concrete pavement repairs. Visit the project webpage: PID 107874

- Local access only to properties in the work zone, restricted to one lane, maintained by flaggers or temporary traffic signals.

State Route 67 between State Route 235 and Township Road 235 will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.
State Route 292 between the city of Kenton and the village of Ridgeway will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.
Main Street (State Route 31) between Ohio Street and Carrol Street in the city of Kenton closed on March 4 for 240 days for reconstruction, curb and gutter, and sewer.

CONTINUING IMPACTS:
State Route 347 Lane Closure – Expect intermittent lane closures on SR 347 at U.S. 33 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 10. Traffic will be maintained through portable signals. Crews will be chip sealing the roadway.
State Route 117 Lane Closure – Expect intermittent lane closures on SR 117 between Township Road 100 and County Road 96 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 10. Traffic will be maintained through portable signals. Crews will be chip sealing the roadway.
MERCER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

NEW IMPACT:
U.S. 33 Lane Closure – Expect intermittent lane closures on U.S. 33 between U.S. 127 to the Mercer/Auglaize County line from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Thursday, May 9 through Wednesday, July 31. Traffic will be maintained through a flagging operation. Crews will be resurfacing the roadway.
CONTINUING IMPACTS:
State Route 119 Lane Closure – Expect intermittent lane closures on SR 119 between SR 716 to Westview Avenue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Monday, April 22 through Wednesday, July 31. Traffic will be maintained through a flagging operation. Crews will be resurfacing the roadway.
State Route 219 Lane Closure – Expect intermittent lane closures on SR 219 between CR 219A to Club Island Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Monday, April 22 through Wednesday, July 31. Traffic will be maintained through a flagging operation. Crews will be resurfacing the roadway.

PUTNAM COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

LIMA, Ohio (Friday, May 3, 2024) The following work is anticipated to affect highways in Putnam County. All outlined work is weather permitting.
State Route 65 between village of Leipsic and village of Belmore will be restricted to one lane for cleaning drainage structures.
State Route 189 over Leatherwood Ditch between Road 19 and Road T-19, just west of the community of Rimer closed on April 10 for approximately 45 days for bridge maintenance.

Detour: SR 190 to U.S. 224 to SR 115, back to SR 189 (see map).
State Route 613 between State Route 109 and Eastom Street in the village of Leipsic closed on March 20 for approximately 60 days for curb replacement and sewer repairs.

State Route 613 between State Route 15 and State Route 108 will be restricted to one lane for cleaning drainage structures.

VAN WERT COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

LIMA, Ohio (Friday, May 3, 2024) The following work is anticipated to affect highways in Putnam County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S. 30 rest areas between State Route 49 and U.S. 127 in Van Wert County closed on Jan. 11 for approximately one year for complete reconstruction of the buildings.
State Route 49 between South Street and Jackson Street (Wren-Landeck Road) in the village of Wren will remain closed until Friday, May 3. Delays are expected at intersections and single-lane traffic restrictions through May 7 for paving and striping.
TRAFFIC IMPACT
Detour: SR 81 to U.S. 127. to U.S. 30 to U.S. 224, back to SR 49 (see map).
State Route 81 between Willshire Eastern Road and Harrison Willshire Road will close on Monday, May 6, for approximately 150 days to raise the roadway profile and replace two culverts. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
TRAFFIC IMPACT
Detour: SR 49 to U.S. 33 to SR 118, back to SR 81 (see map).
Bockey Road/Becker Road at U.S. 224 on the north side of the intersection is open following a closure for a culvert replacement.
Hoagland Center Road at U.S 224 on the south side of the intersection will close on Monday, May 13, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement.
WYANDOT COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

LIMA, Ohio (Friday, May 3, 2024) The following work is anticipated to affect highways in Hancock County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S. 23 rest areas between the village of Carey and the city of Upper Sandusky in Wyandot County closed on Jan. 11 for approximately one year for reconstruction.
U.S. 23/U.S. 30 at the State Route 53/State Route 67 interchange, the lane closure has shifted. The passing lanes are now closed to replace the pavement. Visit the project webpage: PID 107872
State Route 67/State Route 231 (N. Sycamore Avenue), the railroad crossing in the village of Sycamore will close Wednesday, May 8, for railroad repair.

State Route231/State Route 294, where the two routes overlap through the community of Wyandot, will close on Tuesday, May 14, for two days for pavement repair.

State Route 294 between the village of Harpster and U.S. 23 will close on Monday, May 27, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement.

State Route 294 between the village of Harpster and the Crawford County line will be restricted to one lane for moving crack sealing operations.
