Did you know Ohio is the second best state for drivers? The next time you are stuck in rush hour traffic or receive a higher insurance bill, other states have it a lot worse.
A new report from bankrate.com says Ohio drivers' commute times are lower, gas is cheaper, and insurance is cheaper than all of the other states except Iowa. Ohio had the seventh-lowest cost for insurance at $709 per year and the third-lowest auto-repair cots at an average of $365 per year. The report also showed the state's drivers had an average commute of about 20 minutes each way every day and spend over $1,000 a year on gasoline.
Last year Ohio ranked 18th for drivers. While the state does score well overall, not everyone's experience will be the same.
