OSU Lima students inducted into new Circle K Charter

A celebration Tuesday night of a new Circle K Charter at Ohio State Lima.

The Kiwanis Club of Lima joined OSU Lima administrators and faculty at the Perry Webb student life center. Special guests were the Kiwanis Ohio District Governor, the Circle K District Governor and the Lt. Governor for the Ohio District of Circle K International. Circle K International is college and university students who are responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to community service worldwide. Over 30 students were eligible to be inducted as charter members of the OSU Lima Kiwanis Circle K.

"I think it's important, not only to build our resumes, but also it's really rewarding to be able to give back, whether we needed the services at one point in our life or whether we just feel we need to give back to our community at this point," said Sarah Mackesy, Treasurer and Social Media Chair.

These students join the 350 plus members of the Kiwanis family of clubs in Lima/Allen County, including the Key Club of Lima Senior, the Builders Club of South Science Technology Magnet, and many others.
