Lima Sister Cities Association's Keiko Hahn was featured in a film done by the Tokyo Broadcasting System about her childhood in Japan, falling in love with an American soldier and moving to the United States after World War II. "War Bride" debuted last year with a screening at Lima Senior High School and is now going to air on the PBS station at WBGU in March. Hahn says she still can't believe her story has become an actual documentary.

Hahn had started journaling her life when she came to the States and made a book of her autobiography as a Christmas gift for family one year, which brings us to PBS purchasing two airings of the film. The first will be on Thursday, March 14th at 10 p.m.
