PANDORA, OH (WLIO) - The Pandora Police Department is warning the public about a telephone scam hitting the area.
People are getting calls from scammers who have spoofed the caller ID to read Pandora Family Physicians. The scammer is impersonating staff and telling the person who was called that they need to change or confirm their appointment. However, they add the practice has lost all the patient's personal information. Pandora Family Physicians says they will never ask for personal information over the phone. The police say if you get a call from them asking for personal information to hang up.
