A Lima man facing several charges of sex crimes involving young girls had a pre-trial date set.
62-year-old Ronald Payne is charged with rape, three counts of attempted rape, 12 counts of gross sexual imposition, two counts of trafficking in persons, and 17 counts of a minor in nudity-oriented material.. among other charges.
Prosecutors say they found evidence on Payne's phone and computer. They say the crimes took place form January of 2014 until January of 2015.
The victims were a 12 and a 15-year-old girl. They were not related to Payne, but were acquaintances, according to prosecutors.
His final pre-trial date is set for may 11. Trial is scheduled for June 13.
