November 20, 2024, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department: On 11-03-2024 officers were sent to a residence in the 500 block of S. Franklin St, for a loud music complaint.
On 11-03-2024 officers responded to the 800 block of Skinner St, for a Domestic Violence complaint. Upon arrival officers met with a male and a female at the residence. After investigating the incident, officers found probable cause to arrest the male, 32-year-old Jarrett Catlin, of Delphos, for Domestic Violence.
On 11-04-2024 officers were dispatched to an Ungovernable Juvenile complaint in the 300 block of S. Pierce St. Officers were advised that a juvenile female had created a disturbance in the home and then left. Officers located the juvenile who persisted in disorderly behavior. After investigating the incident, the juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Juvenile Detection Center for Domestic Violence.
On 11-05-2024 officers were sent to the 1200 block of S. Bredeick St. for a Disturbance. Upon arrival officers met with a male and his wife. It was determined that nothing physical occurred and the parties wanted to separate for the night.
On 11-06-2024 officers spoke with a female in the 400 block of E. 4th St, who stated that it appeared someone had tampered with her residence and a package that was delivered to her.
On 11-06-2024 a female called the police department requesting a well being check on a female whom she had not heard from. The female was located and was fine.
On 11-07-2024 the Detective Bureau began an investigation of Child Abuse/Domestic Violence, after receiving a report of a baby that had received injuries while in the care of his father at a residence in Delphos.
On 11-07-2024 officers were sent to the 400 block of Moxie Lane for a male on the property causing a disturbance. The male was located and removed from the property.
On 11-08-2024 an employee at a refuse company contacted the police department to report a customer continually harassing him.
On 11-08-2024 officers were sent to the 1000 block of Lima Ave, for a disturbance. Officers spoke with a male and female at the residence. Officers found that an assault had occurred earlier while the couple was in Elida. Allen County Sheriff’s Office was called to handle that complaint.
On 11-09-2024 officers spoke with a male in the 200 block of King St, who reported that a male walked through his yard. The homeowner stated that he has no trespassing signs up and the subject became belligerent when confronted.
On 11-09-2024 a female contacted the police department to report that her husband struck her vehicle while leaving in his vehicle. The female was advised to contact her insurance as the accident occurred on private property.
On 11-09-2024 officers were asked to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol in locating a vehicle with a suspected intoxicated driver on US 30. Officers did locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The stop was turned over to Troopers a short time later.
On 11-09-2024 officers were advised of a barking dog complaint in the area of E. 7th and N. Scott St.
On 11-10-2024 officers were sent to the 500 block of N. Main St, for a male with mental issues acting aggressively. The male was located and officers requested EMS to transport him to the hospital for an evaluation.
On 11-10-2024 a female reported that she had lost her Apple watch at an event in Delphos, and it was now mapping back to a residence in Delphos.
On 11-11-2024 employees at a business in the 1900 block of E. 5th St, reported that two subjects came into the store and attempted to purchase items with a fraudulent payment card.
On 11-11-2024 a female called from the 300 block of S. Pierce St, to report items stolen from her yard.
On 11-12-2024 officers spoke with employees at a business in the 200 block of W. 5th St, after they reported having issues with an angry customer.
On 11-12-2024 an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver commit a traffic violation. During the traffic stop officers found probable cause to arrest the driver, 36-year-old Zachary Ross of Lima, for OVI.
On 11-13-2024 officers were sent to a business in the 1900 block of E. 5th St, to investigate a private property crash.
On 11-13-2024 officers were sent to perform a well being check on a female who was reported to be without electricity or heat.
On 11-14-2024 officers were dispatched to investigate a private property crash in the 1900 block of E. 5th St.
On 11-14-2024 officers spoke with an employee at a business in the 1900 block of E. 5th St, who reported that her cell phone was stolen.
On 11-14-2024 officers spoke with an employee at a business in the 200 block of W. 5th St, who wished to file for a Criminal Trespass Order against a male whom she no longer wanted at the business.
On 11-14-2024 officers were dispatched to the 900 block of S. Main St, to check for a male threatening to harm himself.
On 11-15-2024 officers were sent to the 500 block of N. Main St, for a Domestic Disturbance involving a female and her adult son.
On 11-15-2024 officers spoke with an employee at a business in the 1000 block of Elida Ave, who reported having a customer following her in the store, acting inappropriately.
On 11-15-2024 officers met with a homeowner in the 900 block of S. Jefferson St, after receiving a complaint of an on-going neighbor dispute.
On 11-16-2024 a female called the police department to report that her husband left the residence and was threatening to harm himself.
On 11-16-2024 officers received a call from a female requesting a well being check on a male who was in mental distress.
