The City of Lima already looking to the summertime as they a now accepting applications for seasonal employees.
Each spring and summer the city's Parks and Recreation Department supplement their staff to help with activities in the city parks. Help is needed for the summer playground program, the maintenance of ball diamonds, and other positions The jobs are suitable for anyone from college age to retirees.
Lima City Recreation Leader Kelsey Pughsley says, “They’re working with kids anywhere from the age of 6 to 12. Someone with some high energy wants to be outside running around, playing with the kids, getting activities going and they like that. We are also hiring for our ball diamond crew, parks maintenance. I know utilities have similar maintenance and stuff. They’re also searching for some candidates.”
