Self-Parking Car Survey

Despite the fact that automated car features are more reliable than human drivers, one national company's survey has some surprising results.

AAA conducted a survey showing that only about a quarter of American drivers trust the self-parking feature that is faster, performs less maneuvers, and rarely strikes the curb compared to unassisted drivers.

For many people who have grown up without assisting devices, the trust factor is the hardest thing to overcome, but being educated about the system is a big step too.

For those in the automobile field, the automated enhancements are something that society should accept if their focus is truly on safety.

Grothous went on to say that customers should not be surprised the next time they purchase a vehicle and more automated features including emergency braking are incorporated.
