LIMA, OH (WLIO) - United States Senator Sherrod Brown stopped in Lima on Thursday to talk to voters about how he's helped Ohioans.
Brown says that in the past several years he has been part of getting bills passed that are already improving the lives of his constituents in Ohio.
Brown and local union leaders endorsing him emphasized that his efforts in office have been focused on making Washington work for individuals and the working class. He has spent the last several years working on bills that keep jobs in the United States, lowering healthcare costs, and strengthening union rights.

"We've saved the pensions of 100,000 workers. We passed a bill that those soldiers and marines that were exposed to burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan, we passed a bill that they're going to get care of the VA. That bill is named after an Ohioan. The pension bill is named after an Ohioan. We've taken on fentanyl. 400 Ohioans a month die from fentanyl poisoning," stated Sherrod Brown, U.S. Senator (D-OH).
Sherrod Brown is running against Bernie Moreno for Ohio's U.S Senate seat.
Sherrod Brown will be running against Bernie Moreno this election day, on Tuesday, November 5th.
