(WLIO) - There were slight changes to the county unemployment numbers for July.

Slight changes to Ohio's unemployment numbers for July

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services released the numbers for all 88 counties. Mercer County had the lowest rate in the state at 2.7%. Auglaize and Putnam fell slightly last month. Allen and Hancock Counties remained unchanged from June to July.

Hardin County has the highest unemployment rate in our region at 5%. Shelby and Paulding Counties had the biggest decline at .3%. Overall the state of Ohio fell from 4.5% in June to 4.4% in July.
