Lima Senior High Students and Unity Elementary students spent Thursday having fun and learning important lessons along the way.

Spartan Fest, organized by Lima Senior Business and Marketing Students as well as the Big Spartans, Little Spartans program, helped connect young kids with mentors through various activities.

A carnival-style education game focused on social-emotional learning, financial literacy, career development, and being a better human.
"Every time we interact with these children, we are changing their lives," said Quintel Wilson, Project Lead of Big Spartans, Little Spartans. "The rate for these kids graduating is significantly higher. Us being in these kids' lives, giving them a role model that they don't have at home it changes their lives. I look forward to interacting with every little here, in a big group setting. It just gives them a chance to have fun and get away from school."
