FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - The Findlay Police officers are searching for a suspect that fled on foot after a short vehicle police chase early Saturday morning. According to the department, at 12:31 am Saturday an officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of S. West St. at Hardin St. in Findlay for not having a visible license plate. After talking with the driver, they took off, and the officer followed. The car attempted to make a right-hand turn but ended up sliding through a front yard of a residence in the 500 block of W. Lincoln St., nearly striking the home and a parked vehicle. The suspect took off on foot and is still at large.
