Over the years, the king and queen have been involved with the Auglaize County Junior Fair Board. Braiden has shown chickens, ducks, goats, and feeder cows, while Chloe has shown rabbits and goats in addition to completing nutrition and special interest projects. Following the coronation, we talked with the new king and queen about what it means to receive the crown.
"It's a good impact. I mean, I was really surprised. Just to be a role model to younger kids and show them what Auglaize County is really about and like other fairs. Being a representative of this fair is a true honor because it is such a good fair," says Chloe Pax, 2024 Auglaize County Jr. Fair Queen.

"It means a lot to me because this is kind of the high point in the junior fair. It's an elite position, I feel like, and it feels good to me that I made it there. Lot of years of hard work and a lot of years put in that makes it all worth it for sure," says Braiden Lee, 2024 Auglaize County Jr. Fair King.
Braiden is entering his sophomore year at Ohio State Lima studying agricultural education with dreams of returning to Auglaize County, while Chloe is a 2024 graduate of Botkins High School and will attend college to study English with the goal of becoming a teacher.
