Three Dayton women were arrested after a police chase Wednesday night where officers found thousands of dollars worth of stolen items. 19-year-old Dakota Williams, 19-year-old Elijhanae Stroud, and 20-year-old Amir Jackson are currently in the Auglaize County Jail.
Just after 7 p.m. Wednesday, St. Marys Police officers were called to Bath and Body Works for a theft of $1,000 worth of items. Officers found the suspects’ vehicle later at Kroger and a chase began east down US 33, then southbound on I-75. Stop sticks were deployed around Sidney to stop the vehicle and the three women were arrested. Williams was charged with theft and failure to comply with an officer, Stroud is charged with theft, and Jackson with complicity. Officers found over $10,000 worth of stolen goods in the car.
