Tschuor said Tyler Paxon had stolen $200 dollars from her the previous day and had promised to return it if she met with him at a car lot near Delphos. It was then he allegedly forced his way into the victim's car and shoved her into the passenger seat. She finally escaped at Casey's General Store in Cridersville where she promised to get gas money from a friend. Paxson has had other run-ins with law enforcement. When he was 19, he was found not guilty of one count of assault of an officer. That charge stemmed from an incident in which he was accused of resisting arrest after he became combative when officers tried to arrest him.
